Please define karma When this question is being asked by someone, lots of people will link this together with religion. (Hinduism and Buddhism) The effects of a person's actions that determine his destiny in his next incarnation. Because of the explanation, lots of human being on earth thinks that karma is just some religion talking, it doesn't really fit in real life. Even worse, a large amount of people will start to think, I'm with other religion, therefore, karma doesn't apply to me. Is karma a fact? let us discuss this.

Well, let us read through the definition of karma from Hindusim and Buddhism again. Karma is the effects of a person's actions that determine his destiny in his next incarnation. Ok, lets strike out some word in that statement, the effects of a person's actions that determine his destiny in his next incarnation. Now, please read again, and yes, karma is simply the effects of a person's action that determine his destiny. And now, focus on the red color word, which is actions and effects.

So, we can see that, the simple explanation of karma is just actions and effects or causes and effects and it is just that simple. So is causes and effects a religion thing or it is a fact. I'll give you a very simple example, Thomas is an employee of a company somewhere, he has to wake up 6am in the morning to get to work. One day, Thomas wake up as usual in the morning but this time, he wakes up late because of his alarm clock is out of battery. He immediately jump up from his bed and rush to bathroom to brush his teeth, and becuase he was rushing, he accidentally bang his leg on his way to bathroom and because of the pain from his leg, he is very angry. After 20 minutes, he is now on his way to work, and because he wakes up late, he stucks in jam and when he reach his office, it is 9.30am and he is now late and when he steps in to his office door steps, his boss is already there waiting for him. His boss scolded him because he is late. Thamas is getting angry and angry because he feels that today is just not his day. And after work when he reach home, he sees his dog is shitting everywhere is the house, he becomes more angry and kick his dog out of the house. The fact is, his dog always shit everywhere in the house and why didn't he kick his dog out of the house earlier? It is all because he woke up late in the morning, his boss scolded him because he was late to work and because he was scolded by the boss he gets angrier and finally he release his anger to his beloved dog.

Hope you guys have clearer idea what karma really is.
