Why Build A Community For Language Learners AND Travelers?

The question I've been getting since we decided to create this online community for language learners AND travelers is WHY? Why have a community for language learners and travelers. Don't they already have communities for language learners? Yes, they do! One really good one is called iTalki which I am a member of. And what about travelers? Don't they have a community for travelers? Yes, they do! It's called WAYN. I just don't think that either one of these communities gives me, or the users of Loquella, a community that represents more than one aspect of themselves. I see language learners as travelers and travelers as language learners. And that's how we came up with Loquella's Language and Travelers Community!

We wanted to start a community that reflected the diverse interests of Loquella's users. Loquella's users are from all over the world, and they are all learning languages for different reasons, but what they do all have in common seems to be a love for travel.

So this community is a place where you can meet other language learners and travelers, find language tutors and study buddies or just read and learn from the blog posts and videos others have contributed!
