What are people's experience with virtual classrooms ? WiZiQ offers a virtual Classroom that doesn't cost $100,000 for a site license. That's what attracted me to the WiZiQ VC platform.

Trying to understand - in my text state that numbers expressing hundreds, you say number of hundreds and follow with the next number. Their examples:
ciento treinta y dos
quinientos cinco
ochocientos veintenuevo Why does this 829 NOT follow the other pattern? Why would it not be expressed as
ochocientos veinte y nuevo ???????????????????
novecientos cuarenta y siete

Hi!
Well, this blog is the story of how do I get here.
I wrote it in Spanish cause its my native language so you can ask me about it... ;)
Bueno...

Who would have guessed that I would be learning Spanish and belong to a language community when I was 68 years old? Probably no one! We can sometimes attribute dramatic changes in life style to our being adventurous and wanting new and exciting changes.
Anyway, here I am writing this blog, and hoping to find new friends who are interested in some of the same things that I am.
So let's begin with the fact that my wife and I both love Guanajuato. This is a wonderful city in Mexico…

Since I was in high school, I always wanted to learn how to speak spanish. Just recently I started studying the spanish language and their culture. I am truly amazed at the eloquence of this beautiful language. Although I am unable to carry on a conversation in spanish, I am learning lots. I have been studying using the internet, watching spanish television, and listening to their music. The spanish music sounds so wonderful and I have started a CD collection. I reside in Ohio and would love to…

Growing up in the US, the majority of us were required to take a foreign language in school and the options were usually from the romance language family. So I thought I would try something completely different to shock the system and learning Hebrew certainly does that. Not only is it a completely different alphabet (which I'm trying to learn - both print and script), but you also read from right to left! I'm su…

The question I've been getting since we decided to create this online community for language learners AND travelers is WHY? Why have a community for language learners and travelers. Don't they already have communities for language learners? Yes, they do! One really good one is called iTalki which I am a member of. And what about travelers? Don't they have a community for travelers? Yes, they do! It's called WAY…

As the administrator of this community I want to make sure that all our members have the opportunity to create their own blogs. However, I will be continuing to make blog updates to the old Loquella
language blog to let everyone know about new features and languages that are being added to
Loquella.com. The language blog will also continue to be the area where I post my word of the day (or, sometimes, the word of th…
