At 11:05pm on May 16, 2007, Jennifer Atienza said…: Tagalog and Filipino are just the same. Tagalog is one of the dialects in the Philippines - it is the most popular and it's "formal" name is Filipino (when introduced in literature, media - I guess to make it easier).

I guess the "Filipino" word for our language is Tagalog and the English translation is "Filipino".
